Venue
The Conference will be held in the University Club Bonn, in the center of the Rhineland region. Bonn is close to Cologne and easy reachable via the Cologne/Bonn airport. More information on how to get to Bonn can be found here.
The University Club Bonn - Association for the Promotion of Scientific Communication at the University of Bonn e.V. - Uniclub for short - was founded in 1986 by professors at the University of Bonn.
The University Club offers rooms for all kinds of events. In the largest hall, the Wolfgang Paul Hall, meetings, congresses or festive events can be held with up to 250 people, depending on the seating. In five other rooms - named after the Bonn professors Josef Alois Schumpeter, Paul Martini, Ernst Robert Curtius, and Ernst Friesenhahn - there is space for up to 110 people, depending on the size and seating. All rooms are equipped with the appropriate media technology as required.
The University Club's in-house restaurant offers a large selection of menus, buffets, cannapees, etc. to cater for conference participants. In addition to the foyers, the Bistro Luigi Pirandello and the Niebuhr-Stube are also suitable as rooms for entertaining. When the weather is good, the garden terrace facing the Rhine is also available.
